Dedicated to creating a firm that constantly meets the needs of the community
for a professionally run fire protection contractor, Applied Fire Protection
Services, Inc. was formed in 2004 by four principals. Together they created a
company that is committed to quality service and higher standards. The company
is owned by Dennis Sullivan, Jay Powell, Michael Pleszkoch. Their
cumulative personal experience exceeds over 65 years in the fire protection
field. Dennis Sullivan and R. Jay Powell, are licensed Professional Engineers.
They are both graduates of the acclaimed School of Fire Protection Engineering
at the University of Maryland, where their dedication to the development of fire
safe environments took its start. Assisting in the quest to produce and maintain
fire safe environments is Michael Pleszkoch, who is NICET level IV certified
fire alarm and sprinkler designer. He is determined to uphold the company's mission of excellence. Together the three principals of Applied Fire Protection Services, Inc. vow to offer quality and dependability in the field of fire protection.
